I’ve had the provisional results from the Alice Holt XC, and they are very good !

Both the men & women finished 2nd, which means we finished 1st overall. 
By my calculations that puts us top of the league, but by only one point.
I genuinely believe that with a strong team on Sunday we could go and win the league for the first time since 2003! 
It’s a new course around the Holywell Estater, Swanmore, nice and local, so it would be great to get our biggest team this year and show everyone what “little old” Denmead Striders are all about.

Another excellent result at Bourne Woods XC on Sunday., Men were 2^nd & ladies were 10th, giving a team result of 4th.Currently in a 3-way tie for first place in the league too!! 

Well done to all 24 Striders who participated!

Well done to everyone who participated in last night’s 10 k club run and a big thank you to all the volunteer marshals who made sure that nobody got lost en route!

We would like to improve the mechanism by which we communicate with our paid-up members as we realise that not everyone uses social media all the time (or at all) or refers to this website for updates. Therefore, over the coming months, we will be starting to use email communication as a routine means of promulgating important information regarding the club activities.

Clare has many of your email addresses from the England Athletics database but there are quite a few omissions due to missing details on the original application form or out-of-date information. If you think that we may not have your current email address, please let Clare know, preferably by email. Clare will also try get to you in some way to request this information. Of course, if you prefer NOT to receive communication in this manner please let Clare know and she will opt you out.
