AGM & Awards Evening 2024
This will be taking place this year at a slightly later date of the 5th April and it is at a new venue – Denmead War Memorial Hall.
There is not a bar so if you would like beverages alcoholic or soft please feel free to bring along – preferably with a drinking vessel too!. There are also kitchen facilities so if anyone fancies a brew you could even make yourself a cuppa.
The evening will kick off with the AGM which EVERYONE is welcome to attend and then the awards evening will follow (aiming for a 7.45 start)
To give you a flavour of the categories they are:
Men’s Captain Award
Ladies’ Captain Award
Dave Davenport – Unsung Hero Award
Winnie Mae – Best Newcomer Award
Marathon Performance Award
Joyce Burton – Chairman’s Award
Cross Country Captain Award
There will also be the 2023 season awards for the club Handicap, Club Championships and the Striders League
Lastly there will be the Burtonian Award (Players Player I like to call it – voted on the night) I may be asking for nominations over the coming weeks on this one

Christmas Party 2024
Provisionally booked for 6th December 2024 at Horndean Sports Bar, Five Heads Rd, Horndean, Waterlooville PO8 9NZ. 7-11 pm.
