The first SCCL race of the 2026-27 season is organised by Basingstoke and Mid-Hants Athletic Club and will take place in Benyon’s Inclosure on Sunday 25th October at the usual time of 11 am GMT. Please follow the link SCCL Race #1 Instructions for full details including location, available facilities etc.
Unfortunately this event clashes with the New Forest 10 HRRL race, but if you haven’t already entered that race and would like the opportunity to run around some woods and represent the Club, please come along and join the fun.
It’s free and there is no need to book, so just turn up wearing your Striders top (I have a few spares if you need to borrow one).
If you can’t make this race, the next one is on 22nd November at Alice Holt. A full list of fixtures can be found here:
https://www.
Don’t forget the clocks go back on Sunday, so you can have an extra hour rest before the race
See you Sunday!
